This page has been set up so that you can see the couple who started Swing2us.
Swing2us was started in January 2000 by Dean and Matty to enable people like themselves to meet each other and have fun. The site has gone through many facelifts over the years, with continuous improvements to incorporate functions to assist members in finding profiles that suit them. Dean strived to make the website a safe place for people to meet by ensuring their privacy was maintained by implementing facilities such as the site mailer which allowed contact with other members without exposing personal contact details.
Over the years, Dean worked tirelessly to bring about acceptance of the swinging lifestyle he believed strongly in. Dean and Matty appeared on several television programmes and magazine articles about the swinging lifestyle, and Dean also delivered a speech to MPs pointing out the archaic law which made a swinging lifestyle illegal in the UK. Dean and Matty threw parties through the Swing2us website which proved to be a great success as they were well organised by Dean whose enthusiasm and dedication ensured the parties were a success all round.
 As the parties became more popular, Dean and Matty decided to start a website dedicated to their parties which would help with the organisation of the party list. Thus, Steamy Parties was born.
Dean and Matty's Swing2us went from strength to strength, with a membership consisting of real people wanting to meet others like themselves. Swing2us grew to be one of the largest swingers sites in the UK, which brought Dean and Matty's dream of freedom for swingers closer.
Loss of an icon
On the 12th June 2004, Dean passed away at the age of 42 which devastated those who knew him and rocked the swinging community. The driving force behind Swing2us was gone, leaving the memory of a man who altered the lives of those who knew him, with his vitality and exuberance.
Dean left behind family and friends who will always hold him close to their heart.
Swing2us carries on through the dedication of Dean's friends and family to ensure Dean's dream continues.
This website will always be Dean's legacy to the swinging community.
