Rules
As with all situations, the basic rules are obvious. Be courteous and
polite and respect the wishes of others. Most of the rules for this room
are obvious.
They will let you know what is allowed, and are not for open channel debate.
If you are not willing to follow them, please don't come in, or you risk
being removed.

Under Age
Legal age. If you are under age, sorry but
you'll have to find somewhere else to amuse yourself.
Anyone looking for or promoting underage sex will be
banned from the channel and your IP address will be
recorded. This also goes for anyone that seems to be looking
for underage sex. We will report you to the police at the
straight away.
This rule is in place because we believe
anyone below the age of 18 should not be exposed to this
lifestyle.

Animals
No mention of any sexual activity with animals if you do you will
be banned from the channel and your IP address will be recorded. We will report you to the police at the straight away.

Scat
No mention of scat will be allowed in these
rooms. This maybe your liking but most people find it deeply
offensive and sickening.

Private Messages
No Private Messaging without permission. If
you want to chat to someone, ask them in the channel
first, and only double click their name if they agree.
If they so no, don't message them. Known offender will be
banned first time without a warning.
When you PM someone uninvited and that user
is in the room on Java you knock out any text that they may
of been typing at that time. It is also rude to interrupt
someone whilst they may be chatting to someone else.

Text Flooding
No flooding. Don't keep saying the same thing
over and over again. If you are looking for something in
particular, and are asking in the channel, space your
messages out sensibly. Anyone that just keeps repeating the
same message with out trying to chat will be kicked. Any
messages of 4 lines or more will be on auto kick & after 3
kicks a auto ban.
This is because many users find it hard
enough to follow the chat without large messages & pictures
being sent. Some people find it very hard to keep up with
the speed of the room normally but when people place large
blocks of text or pictures they find it impossible.

Capitals
Turn CAPS LOCK off. Caps is the chat room equivalent of shouting and is not
only rude, but annoying. This is also on an auto kick.

Swearing
Swearing. Occasional swearing is acceptable.
Abusive swearing is not and will get you kicked. Use
your common sense as you would if talking to a group
of people in the real world.
We are all into this for fun and if some one
is being abusive or rude then it is no longer fun for
anyone.

No Advertising
This includes swinging web sites, escorting
services, chat lines or personal sites. You get the idea.
This includes advertising a site or service in your
nickname. If you would like to tell someone of a site you
run or a site of interest please do it private. If a site is
not a part of swing2us then it should be passed on in PM.
If we allow out side web sites to advertise
in the room, you would have them in all the time trying to
push their goods and services. This would spoil every ones
fun.

Phone Numbers
No posting of phone numbers in the main room,
this is because some sad people post other peoples phone
number.

Mattyexposed

Abuse
No racist, sexist, or sizist comments in the channel will be
tolerated. The same goes for any other type of abusive comments. Although we realise that some of the above may be down to sexual taste. But none of the above must be used in an abusive way.
The above speaks for it self. This lifestyle should be about live and let live.

Clones
Anyone found pretending to be someone else will be kicked. The Op's now run a clone scan so if there are two of you using the same IP please tell the Op's so they do not kick you.

Fakes
Anyone found pretending to be something they
are not, will be kicked. Just be honest about who you
are, and people will be friendly. The room is here for you
to chat to other people in this lifestyle not to wind people
up for your own enjoyment.
Every one has enough time wasters to deal
with, we don't want them in the room as well.

Picture Collectors
Anyone asking in the channel for pics will be kicked.
Anyone found to be here for the purpose of collecting pics will be kicked.
These rooms are for you to find people to meet, if an Op suspects that you are just after other room users photo's, you will be removed.

Multiple Rooms
Due to security issues do not use Mirc or
Java to sit in #swingers-uk & another Mirc or Java room.
This chat room is not on any Chat room list so that only
people coming through swing2us can find it.
If you sit in this room and another, some one
from the other room can do a whois on you and see which
other rooms you are using. It is then very easy for them to
enter those rooms as well. This opens the way for people
that have nothing to do with swinging to find and enter the
room. Also many of the chat rooms on the chat server list
are Teen rooms and the last thing we want is kids finding
the room through the chat room list.

Idle Times
If a connection is found to be idle for more
than 30 minutes the Op's will drop the connection.
This will enable you to come straight back
into the room if you were just watching. But if your
connection had dropped and your nick had remained in the
room you will now be able to re-enter.
